Now pour the red eye gravy over your grits and an open biscuit. You are ready to eat Yum!
How to Cook Grits:
Bring 4 cups of water and 1 teaspoon of salt to a boil. Stir in 1 cup of Julia's Pantry organic yellow grits. Reduce heat and cover. Stir occasionally. Cook approximately 30 minutes until grits thicken. It's okay to add more water and cook longer because these grits become creamier the longer they cook.
Stir in options: butter, salt, pepper, cheese, Sassy Roasted Garlic Dip/Seasoning Mix, ham bits, cooked sausage, bacon pieces, eggs, etc.
Timesaving Tip: Prepare our grits according to the above recipe in a crock pot overnight.
